Buyer guide

How to compare cleanroom mop heads

Select the mop head together with the compatible frame, handle, wringer or solution-delivery method, surface geometry, chemistry, and validated cleaning procedure.

Mop format

Tubular string and flat foam-backed heads contact surfaces differently. Match the format to the target geometry and cleaning technique.

Working size

The launch range includes a 77 × 34 cm string mop, an approximately 15-inch pocket head, and an 18-inch PolyFoam head.

Construction and sorption

Review the textile face, foam layer, reusability, and SKU-specific sorption data. Do not infer missing values between mop heads.

Hardware compatibility

Confirm the frame, handle, attachment method, and wringing system before ordering. Hardware is not included with PFM-003-14.

Cleanroom documentation

SM-0019 and PFM-003-14 have documented ISO compatibility. PFM-004-18 has no published class in the current source set.

Category questions

Are mop frames and handles included?

Do not assume hardware is included. PFM-003-14 explicitly excludes the compatible frame and handle; confirm the complete system for every mop head.

Which launch mop is reusable?

SM-0019 is documented as washable and reusable. Follow an approved laundering and inspection procedure.
